COP 28 is the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the UNFCCC, an essential international summit gathering global leaders and environmental experts to promote climate action. The conference focuses on evaluating progress, setting more ambitious emission reduction goals, and accelerating efforts to meet the climate targets of the Paris Agreement. 

The United Nations established 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These goals were adopted in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, designed to address global challenges, including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace, and justice. Each goal has specific targets to be achieved by 2030
